Azu-Nyan

Was intending to draw Faye as it was the only suggestion last week. But after all the hype on the latest K-On! girl, Azusa. Wouldn’t be doing justice to her if I did not draw her!

Who can resist cat ears?

Azu-nyan was definitely easier to draw than Ranka or Mio. I think I completed her the same speed as Tsumugi, though I think Mugi took a little longer because I had to do some research on her keytar.

However Azu-nyan was a pain to color. I hate handling dark colors due to the lack of shade that my color set has. The hair took ages and I had to resort to using a mix of dark purple to bring out the shades.

The school jacket was 1000x worse. Maybe it’s my monitor, maybe it’s my eyes, but are the colors of the K-On! girls’ school jacket blue, dark green or black?

The skirt was some weird color also. I mixed shades of light link and light skyblue to get the resultant color. I think I am wayyyy off though ^^!

In any case, she graces the board with Ranka and Hayate. Mio is probably on her way to comrade Anthony‘s place via airmail as we speak!

I should really learn how to CG. Though I really love traditional mediums!

Who’s next? I have no idea, but I am lazy to color clothes so it will probably be someone who has stripped down to their undergarments (:
