Yesterday, I headed down to IKEA to get a sofa bed to fit into my room since I figured that It was time to graduate from sleeping on a mattress on the floor.
Due to budgetary constraints, I had to choose the cheapest one at 199SGD which was called SOLSTA. Thankfully I had a sister to drive the huge box back to my place.
Too bad I did not take any shoots of the formation of the bed because I ended up being too engrossed in the fixing process. But just like all IKEA products, follow the instructions and you are all good.
Basically, what you see is what you get. The bed part of the sofa gets pulled out like a tongue and you sleep on it. If you see the picture above the bed has 2 additional segments connected to each other. The 2 segments are soft, but the part where the seat side of the sofa originally was is a wooden base.
Apparently the hard part is where your feet is supposed to go, but because I am short, I can afford to put my pillows on the wooden base.
So do you have a sofabed like Kodomut or are you using a conventional bed or are is sleep and bed overrated for you?
