Sunset with R.K.K

(A flower for you)

Attempted to shoot the sunset at Seletar but the sun was blocked by dark and heavy clouds. Not wanting it to be a wasted trip since I brought out 3 Nendoroids, I decided to stay and take some pictures while enjoying the cooling sea breeze.

Initially it the afternoon was filled with dark clouds but it did not rain. I actually was pretty apprehensive about the trip but not wanting to regret not going, I decided to pack Rin, Kureha and Kagami into their carriers and cycle down the Seletar bridge.

The last time I took pictures here was during a hot afternoon last year. The place is still the same but any place always looks different during the different hours of the day. I did not walk down the whole bridge this time, instead I stayed around a small area, taking pictures as I went.

As it was still bright when I reached, I decided to post Rin against some plants beside the pavement. I must say, she looks gorgeous ^^

Rin is so easy to pose against any type of uneven surface such as rocks and slopes. I think it will be quite some time before any Nendoroid can surpass her outdoor posing skills.

and just like sunrise, sunsets occur extremely fast. The sun was hidden behind the clouds though, so you can only see streaks of pretty red clouds.

on the other side of the sun, the sky was filled with dark clouds. Although looked like it was going to rain, it never did, hence the area was extremely cooling and nice.

Oh? Kagami brought her parasol along! Extra points for being well prepared!

I am not too sure what the girls are pointing at. Probably something interesting going on behind my back. Not too interested in anything other than taking this really cute shot of the 3 girls (and a jellyfish)

I moved my camera before the shutter closed and I got the interesting light trail at the background.

Sadly there arent as many nice shoots as compared to the Sunrise article, but I hope that you enjoyed it as much as the girls did ^_^!

Personally I really liked the first few Rin + Flower shots which I took at the beginning of the session. It was much harder to pose the other 2 girls, especially when it got dark and the lighting was also extremely crappy. Not to mention the curious stares of the people walking past me, wondering why is a boy playing with miniature toys at night ^^. But I am slowly getting used to the quizzical looks on people faces. As long as they don’t suddenly /rage and pick a Nendoroid up and throw it into the water, its all ok!

But times like that always makes me wish I had a fellow photographer taking pictures with me. Preferably also having brought a couple of Nendos or Figma for posing! That will be awesome!

Hopefully the next time I come back here for a Sunset session it will be much much nicer. And I probably should go earlier to pose the Nendos against the flowers, rocks and what not!
