Lime plants. A caterpillar’s wet dream.
It’s a slow Wednesday afternoon. I went to out to hang my bedsheets for air drying and I walked past my mother’s plant spot. Recalling that she mentioned that her lime plant was invaded by caterpillars, I decided to have a closer look.
My mother was indeed right, though she probably forgot to mention how bad the damage was. A quick glance and a count and I discovered that there were more than 5 catepillars having a great feast. They were all fat and juicy and if I was a bird, I’ll eat them all up.
Of course the next thing was to find the fattiest and juiciest caterpillar and show them to my daughters.
Kyouka obviously did not like the look of the scary little thing
M1 on the other hand, thinks it’s totally edible and would probably taste great.

Kagamiku, being a kind little catepillar lover, tries in vain to offer her leek to the little creature.
M2 gives the finger, expecting a reaction from the green thing.
Surprised by finding another creature being smaller than them, the minis measure the length of the caterpillar.

No Caterpillars were injured, cooked, eaten, cut up during the production of this entry.
The caterpillar poo-ed 4 times in 30 minutes spent taking the pictures.
