How Pin-Ups should be

Recently Not-very-Recently acquired a NyanType Vol.1

How Pin-Ups should be

How Pin-Ups should be

In it were dozens of hot posters.
But apparently you can’t take them out without cutting the magazine up

How Pin-Ups should be

Solution: Open the metal staples and remove the pin-up posters.

Anyway, to mount the posters, I decided on cardboard and plastic wrapping.

Cut plastic wrapping for protection

Next, measure cardboard to cut out.

    1. < ![CDATA[Hehe. I used the same technic.

But after I put the posters out, I put the magazine together again.

Btw: Use the iron and towel to get rid off the fold.

      Looks like this

    2. < ![CDATA[I learnt a previous technique once: the usage of spray glue and flatboards. This way, it sticks very nicely.

I remember having a stackload of posters lying around, but I can't stick them around in my room. Guess they will have to wait till I move out! ^^

      Ever heard of rasterbation? >.<]]>

    3. < ![CDATA[I just use a ruler and my Hobbyknive to get those posters out.Your method would be too much of a hassle to me.
I used some of those rubbergluedots to pin mine to the wall.Sadly i later found out that they stain the posters a lil bit :(

Ill frame them later I guess.

      Thanks for the Guide]]>

    4. < ![CDATA[Drool cant stop flowing out of my mouth.... i must.. not buy~~~

u can always put it under ur bed to make it straight ^__^]]>

    5. < ![CDATA[That's the way how I take out posters from my megami magazines as well. I read a few ppl wanted to know how I take them out. I replied and I thought to myself I should make a post about this but I got lazy and forgot. Now, I can just refer them to these post to see how it's done.

With my posters, I blue tack them on my wall. I know about the oily spots but I tried other methods and it's just not the same.]]>

    6. < ![CDATA[I used to do that too. Somehow, i became lazy. =P
I just use pen knife plus ruler to get them out nicely.]]>

    7. < ![CDATA[LOL @ "NOT PANTSU"!

I'm not a fan of bishojo pin-ups (of course, I'm a straight girl), but I do enjoy the company of the only anime poster on my wall: the movie poster for the 5th Kara no Kyoukai movie. I haven't seen the movie (I have read the first chapter of the series, though), but the illustration looked cool and the poster was free, so I put it up. I got it at an anime convention a few months ago during a Q&A panel for the movie series and Kalafina, the group that does the theme songs for the movies.

    8. < ![CDATA[I have always been thinking of doing the same to my ceased posters. I hate the cease lines, only if I know how to get rid of them.]]>

    9. < ![CDATA[For me, I use 2 pieces of glass and sandwich the poster in-between.
I just have a liking for glass material.
      ^^

By the way, did you get your magazine from Singapore or did you order it online? Trying to find a copy of it as well.]]>

    10. < ![CDATA[Ah towel and iron. Nice tip! Thanks!

I put back the mag after taking them out too ^^ ]]>

    11. < ![CDATA[I did not want to glue the back because the posters are 2 sided ^^

just googled rasterbation; sounds expensive =p]]>

    12. < ![CDATA[Expensive to work about, yes. But very effective in the long run. I have some posters which I didn't get through magazines (kinda hard to get those around here), so I just use Moe Imouto to get some and rasterbate it!]]>

    13. < ![CDATA[Haha yeah, it's quite time consuming >_<
Best to hire a sibling with lots of free time on their hands to do it ^^]]>

    15. < ![CDATA[Mind sharing the source of them magazines? Lol!

Would also want to try rasterbation! Lol! Time to save up for a color printer then.. -.-"

      How huge is it?

Kalafina songs are nice, love Lacrimosa!]]>
