Held at Singapore’s D’ Marquee @ Downtown East, the exciting event was held for 2 days.
(THE POST IS VERY IMAGE INTENSIVE. Don’t blame me if it fries your com or crashes your G.reader ^^)
Unfortunately due to time constraints I was only able to go down during the second day which was a Sunday, with comrades Maverick and Waltztitus.
Upon arriving at the venue, we spotted a neko-chan (real one, not cosplayed) sitting idly in the bushes. Obviously neko-chan is oblivious to the fun things that are taking places just a few hundred meters away.
Kamen Rider IXA, one of the first cosplayed characters we saw when we reached the grounds. He was in a rush to get to somewhere though.
Some pokemon also graced the event. Is it a pokemon? My knowledge of the names of animated animals stops at cats only.
I heard there is some sort of competition on the cosplaying. Looks like some guys decided to take the initiative and crush some potential competition. The victor is obviously happy of this triumphant victory. What the guy on the floor is happy about, I do not know.
Over at the other grass patch, we see cooler guys that don’t beat each other up.
Kamen IXA practicing some dance moves with a pretty ojou-chan. Why? Probably because you can protect with world with awesome dance moves. Probably.
Nothing much to see outside when we got there other than these, so we proceeded into the even hall which was actually an oversized tent which had bad lighting so from here on, pictures will be full of noise!

Miku, unable to sing in here, pleases the cameras with moves instead. Love the details on her sleeves!
What she probably needs is a checkered cloth to lie on to recreate “World is Mine”
Love this guy, he’s one cool dude.
While I was taking pictures of him, a kid beside me asked his mummy “If I put my CD inside, will he play?”
I almost died laughing.
Later on I asked him to put his discs on his ears to mimic mickey mouse ^^
Nice Tatoo, no idea if it’s anime related or where it’s from.

And out of nowhere, I saw some girls with their doll. They were kind enough to let me take a picture of it. Wanted to pose Rin with it but they seemed uneasy with my sudden request to take a picture of their doll that I decided not to.
No 1/1 Gundam in Singapore, but we have a human sized one. It moves too, and experiences cramps from holding the rifle for too long that his fingers needed a massage from the lady in pink ^^
Poor guy in the Gundam, but awesome suit. Really awesome. Details were astonishing!~
Another pretty cosplayer, but I did not get good shots of her sadly. Had a very charming smile!
Naruto live-action. Note, the guy in the center is not a guy but a cardboard/paper version of the 3rd Kazekage.

It was a blast and the cosplayers were really a good sport for the photographers. Sadly I couldnt take everyone I wanted to take, but I guess these few pictures will suffice. A lot of work must have gone through making the costumes and it’s not an easy task posing for so many camera under the hot sun!

I left early so I missed lots of things including the finale. Comrades over at DC would fill you in!
I was running around taking pictures and was really excited. I did not say long though, but I really enjoyed my time there.
Note to self: bring a spare mem stick next time. 4GB on a 6px DSLR was not enough XD!

Im wondering what to do as my next cosplay on autumn...If stay with short hair for being Heather Mason (these nurses from Silent Hill saga you photographied are great) or getting long hair for doing cosplay of Tara Thrace or Sookie from True Blood. I've never tried out a cosplay of real shows...I always went to cosplay horror videogame girls.

I'm replying to Singer Yuna as she asked about the dress.
The dress was tailored, my friends mum did it for me.
She's awesome.
As for the butterfly & flower patterns, they were hand drawn and vectored and then brought for printing in shop at same market where i bought the cloth.
The silks were bought from People's park complex new Market (the cloth building as known to many)
It's on the 2nd level and the whole shop is furnished with wood.
