Last year, after Kodomut got his hands on a 2nd hand Nikon D40. He went to Macritchie Reservoir with another comrade the very next day. At that time, Kodomut was a noob in the workings of the DSLR. Without any prior knowledge in photography, Kodomut embarked on his first every journey.
Today, Kodomut revisited the same place and walked the same path as he did almost a year ago, but this time, instead of going with another comrade, Drossel, Kureha, Kagami and Rin with the Kyouka twins accompanied him.

Full marks for boringness
Reaching Macritchie Reservoir Park, after a 15 minute bus ride from his place. Kodomut proceeded to take the view. Boring he thought to himself.
He also asked himself “Why am I taking the exact same thing as I did last year?”
With that, he drew out the Nendoroids, and the photoshoot began….
Rin: Come Kagami, lets play hide-and-seek!
Kagami: Woaaaah, this place is nice. Sun is so warm and fuzzy
Rin: Uh no… I think I lost Kagami…
Kagami: *Giggles* Shhhhhhhh….
Kagami: Here I am! *Poke*
Kagami: I don’t think Rin can find me if I hide behind these!

< ![CDATA[What a beautiful place you have their^^ Truly amazing with bridges and stuff, All we have down here are swamps xD
Most adorable pics with the Nendo's ^^,When Kagamiku was hiding from Rin and then poked her it truly touched my heart>< They bring something wondrous about them of being young and adventurous, They way you display them it seems as if their real children. Something that Figma's may never be able to do=3 The animals were cool xD
Once again amazing article, probably your best in me opinion^^]]>
< ![CDATA[Tried to comment but it didn't go through:( So I'll shorten it up, amazing pics, Nendoroids are simply adorable and the animals looked cool, cutest part was when Kagamiku was hiding from Rin and then poked her^^

< ![CDATA[Pic 9 is my favorite, too! ^^ I love Kureha sleeping in the leaves also.
And wow, you got really nice shots of what looks to me like a Rough-scaled Brown Skink and a Yellow Striped Tree Skink (the biology major in me squealed when I saw those). The yellow striped especially is an impressive picture! You are really blessed to live in such a beautiful place *.*]]>
< ![CDATA[Drossel: Humans give trees weird names. Which ones are the Rough-scaled Brown Skink and a Yellow Striped Tree Skink?]]>
< ![CDATA[Wow, I'm surprised at all the wildlife you saw. Great photos.
Remember to resist the urge to scratch that mosquito bite! ^o^]]>
< ![CDATA[(I don't know if this got posted or not... sorry if posts twice!)
Drossel, Skinks are lizards, not trees! ^^

Your DSLR skills are really good, I wonder when I'll be able to learn how to use a DSLR... money... orz]]>
< ![CDATA[Luckily you managed to retrieve Kureha's limbs.
The thing i really love about photography and nendoroid/figma is that they make the world look so different. Last time, never once will i look at things from such low angle. Actually the world is beautiful, sometimes just that we overlook them. I wish some of my friends understand that and stop complaining about their "pathetic" life.
Nendo world is always fun and cute. Visiting your blog is already my daily habit. =D]]>
< ![CDATA[very nice shots you have!
i find the various facial expressions of your figurines interesting... do you swap heads with differet facial expressions?]]>
< ![CDATA[i c thanks for the info!]]>
< ![CDATA[Camped at the ant trail ^^]]>
< ![CDATA[Humans will go extinct before mosquitos ^^]]>
< ![CDATA[It's really scary to find out that you lose something. I was pretty anxious when I found out that I lost Kureha's right hand >_<!]]>
< ![CDATA[Wordpress anti-spam system is pretty Nazi!]]>
< ![CDATA[The Nendos will always be, in my eyes, children.
Drossel will always be, in my eyes, the sexiest robo chick with A grade model poses.
The monkey was indeed, very cool. ^___^]]>
< ![CDATA[I am immune from the many years of training. ROARR!]]>
< ![CDATA[Not really long to take the pictures for the nendoroids, but I took long to walk the 10km trek!]]>
< ![CDATA[Slide was a mix of luck + balancing physics ^^]]>
< ![CDATA[Thumbs up for exercise!]]>
< ![CDATA[Don't make my blog sound like drugs XD!
But yes I do agree with you, I view everything differently ever since picking up a camera. Even more so after picking up figures ^^
The joy of sharing the pictures and the process of stretching the figures limit is exciting and stimulating!]]>
< ![CDATA[/FLEX!]]>

There are really small. Wouldnt have noticed it if not for a group of tourist squatting on the ground when I walked past them ^^]]>
< ![CDATA[I need to get my camera! D:
-Feels motivated by kodomut's photography sk33ls-]]>
< ![CDATA[Your blog is full of nendo drugs!!!]]>
< ![CDATA[Getting the camera is the first step!
Getting used to using it was a great challenge for me. Was very uneasy at first!]]>
< ![CDATA[Indeed! But I definitely have to take a long time to get my first DSLR since I can't work now, LOL!
I think getting used to the camera is the fun part!
Also, I tried looking for Rin at shops today, failed. T_T]]>
< ![CDATA[Hi there, yes, the little figures comes with interchangeable faces. ]]>
