This week has been an interesting week. I’ve not done much photoshoots of nature nor have I publish a single Nendo Story. But I did take tones of random pictures.
This first two pictures were taken for the contribution of Figure.fm’s headers. I wanted to do the classic ahoge grab pose but the center of gravity had some issues and Drossel had some problems balancing so I had to find a more secure way of holding my two kitties. Improvised by using the tail as the grab point. My dear Drossel is getting very very worn out already!
The first part of my contribution can be seen at my post over at figure.fm.
A flower pot crashed down during the week also, causing the whole floor to be soiled up. Hardworking worker Kagamin volunteers to clean them up as usual. Can you just feel her enthusiasm!
Cleaned my figures this week too to fight off the collector’s worst enemy; dust. She looks great having water droplets on her actually. Maybe I should have one or two figure shoots with water droplets sprinkled on the figure one of these days.
Tenko Kuugen. One of my first few figures. Manufactured by Kotobukiya. She’s boxed eternally due to warping issues. Took her out to take a shot of her. Still find her absolutely stunning!
Soniko from Orchid seed. Probably the only figure that looks odd in my collection since she’s sooooo scantily clad. She has issues standing properly on her base though, the little holes on her feet doesn’t fit the connectors on the base snuggly, so she leans. I incline the figure to the other side to counter the irritating problem.
The minikyoukas are so versatile. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s because they cannot be posed much so I don’t have to think too hard what to do with them. And interestingly they look best with Drossel who is crazy when it comes to posing.
I had Mos Burger during the week. I think the quality and standard of their burgers has dropped over the years, or maybe it’s just the outlet I eat from. I love their Lemon Tea and Yakiniku Rice burgers though.
Also, I purchased a new box to keep my parts. It’s smaller that the previous containers I’ve used. This container, as pointed out by a fellow comrade, is used to keep worm bait for fishermen. The parts certainly look like worms!
Went over to a comrade’s place during the week while he was clearing his Kamen stuff. Cookie for you if you can guess what the Monos and Drossel are doing.
Answer at the bottom of the post
And we conclude this post with a HDR image I took a couple of days back. No nendoroids or figma but just wanted to show you guys how Singapore heartland looks like!
And that’s all for this week!
Any particular favourite in this week’s edition?
Check in back next week to see what the little girls were doing. For those interested, the pictures are uploaded during the course of the week and I’ll twitt them once they are up on Flickr! Follow @kodomut for the latest updates!
Last week’s entry here!
