Marina Barrage is located at the southern part of Singapore. At an extremely secluded place considering that I live up in the north. Took the train all the way to the other end of the track. There were a ton of construction stuff that were undergoing at the place because of the upcoming integrated resorts.
Half the buildings are undergoing construction as you can see.
Actually, I think all the buildings are undergoing construction.
Besides the winners of the poll, I brought Drossel, figma Kagamiku and some puchis along. Yayoi and Haruka make their first outdoor debut!
Light at the end of the tunnel, literally. We had to walk some distance to the bus stop which had the bus that would bring us to our secluded destination. The weather was pretty hot but I was pretty tired so I decided to fry my ass and sit down on the sun baked seats with Yoshika and Maritan. The bus took quite a while to come. Thankfully it wasn’t packed.
When we reached the barrage after a few stops, we were greeted with an array of water fountains. At the perimeter, there were little water sprinklers creating really beautiful water mists. Kyouka decides to explore the water mist sprayer – only to get totally wet.
Yoshika with her aerial abilities, could afford to fly over the water and go nearer to the water fountain.
Oh, and before I forget, here are your hosts for the day!
Reimu and Rin were caught slacking off camera during our shoot.
The interior of the barrage was equally as spectacular. There was a wide open space at the bottom level, though we did not explore it much as we headed up to the top level pretty quick.
The second level was technically the roof of the barrage, there were many people having their own picnic up there and an especially obscene number of kite flyers which caused many of the pictures to be littered with dots in the sky. The view from the roof level was spectacular. You could see the cityscape and the buildings lining the place.
I have to mention that the weather was awesome. I was pretty hyped up over the beautiful scenery and nice skies. Another petit gathering!
Took a few shots of Kagamiku. She looks great as expected. I’m starting to love her versatility in photos, much like Drossel!

“Lolipop me wants”
“Leek tail?”
Pastel : “Huh??”
The puchis were not the only one surprised by the leek tail. Wonder who placed it in Pastel Ink’s ass.
*chu* ~
A flying kiss by lovely armor Kagamin.
Pastel Ink tests out her eyesight by trying to read armor Kagamin’s arm band.
Domo-kun trying to do some chikan action apparently!

Time to call for reinforcements!
Pastel Ink: I don’t want to trade the leek for my Lolipop!
Saber: Watch out! There’s an ant!
Before I knew it, it was already sunset. I did not move or take as much pictures as usual, but I certainly enjoyed the whole outing a lot.
The sunset view was pretty breath taking and I would have preferred to stay longer to take more pictures but the last shuttle bus out of there was at 7.30 and we had to pack up and go in order to catch it. The pictures don’t do justice!
Night lights with the water was just too pretty! Had to take them even if we were in a rush!
Would love to get back here at night on another edition of the travelogue!
Had dinner with my “reserves” at Mcdonalds.
And the last picture to end the day!
Kyouka: These clothes don’t have a spot for my tail.
Yayoi: I’ll help you!
I took significantly less pictures this outing as the time seemed to pass so fast, and I feel that some pictures weren’t that well taken, would love to come back there again sometime in the future. While processing the pictures, I realised I did not take any pictures of the spectacular view of the number of kite flyers, and none of my pictures reflects the grand scale of the place!
Anyway special thanks to Yuki-to, Scorch, Edreru and Zh3us for tagging along and bring their own nendos and figma. They probably took some very interesting shots, be sure to check out their burogus for their photos and most importantly check out comrade Alafista for his shots!

< ![CDATA[Your camera has some serious vignette going on. Is that a post effect that you're applying to it? Or does it do that at certain ranges?
Beautiful photos. I had hoped to see more of the Marina itself, since I've never been there. I haven't been back in Singapore in over 4 years!]]>

< ![CDATA[I really enjoy those pics of Drossel with Kagami's head. It's like triple cosplay or something too many levels, but very cute indeed.
Still not a fan of figmas (only Drossel), but the more I see pictures like the swapped Drossel/Kagami, the more I want to buy Kagami so I can swap the heads on mine.
