My love for posable figures is evident in the pictures that I take. It’s interesting to note the I started out being attracted to scaled figures at first an had a detest for both figmas and nendorids. Later on, it was having some hands-on experiences with both of them which led to the eventual interest of collecting them.
Which one shall I eat?
figmas and Nendoroids go extremely well together. Well actually not the actual nendoroids themselves but the petit ones. I was commenting to someone that day that collecting only figmas and petits would be a variable and attracting option.
My first ever petit nendoroid was the ones that came with the scaled figure Kyouka from GSC. There are both equally as cute and the one with the panic face is constantly being abused my me.
However I did not discover the full potential of the type of pictures they could produce until I laid my hands on Drossel. The thing with petits is that they can’t really pose much and Drossel on the other hand, can really pose very well.
When you combine Drossel and them petits together, it’s just a synergy of figure fun.
The Kyouka petits were the precursor for my purchase of the petit nendoroid iDOLM@sters Stage 2 set. It was an excellent purchase and I personally find petits easier to bring out than the normal sized nendoroids.
The only complaint that I have with the petits is that they really need their stands or that they really take a few years to pose properly.
Which is the reason why the figma carrying nendoroid choice of posing is my favourite. If they can’t stand properly, then someone will just have to carry them.
I highly recommend Drossel for all petit carrying jobs since she is just excellent with her awesome posability and her balancing powers. This shot of Yayoi on her shoulders is one of my personal favourites though I think that every single picture of a petit being carried on this post is very fun to look at!

Must’ve taken ages to get the poses just right! In any case I’d say it was definitely time well spent!
Yeah love figmas and nendos but pretty much prefer the latter cuz they’re extremely cute and small, but in my collection, the former outnumbers the latter.
Must try to seek balance in the Force.
