Valkyrie Mirim

Not a particular fan of Queen’s Blade so I haven’t been paying much attention to their figure releases. Only recently when Danny pointed it out on FooBarBaz’s that I knew of the existence of Megahouse’s Valkyrie Mirim. Even so, I did not think that it was a particularly attractive figure. However I decided to give her a shoot since comrade Yuki-to managed to purchase her. Had so much fun shooting her that my perspective on her managed to have a 180 degree change.

The first thing you’ll notice about our Valkyrie is that she’s not very well armored. Which is pretty much a paradox since she’s supposed to be a warrior. But in the world of Queen’s Blade, the amount of clothing is probably proportionally inversely related to your combat skills.

She comes with a very nice red visor in the shape of a Gundam antenna. The visor itself is detachable to cover her eyes. Her massive spiked shield reminds me of Diablo 2 for reasons.

As with most figures, I feel that her side profiles are extremely gorgeous and bring’s out the best look in her. Her head is turnable too, which is one of the things I like about this figure. Her shoulder plate and collar reminds me of the Blood Elves in World of Warcraft. The red and gold gives a very contrasting color combination with her blue hair and looks very good in fact!

And as you can see, just like any Queen’s Blade character, her well endowment is pretty impressive. If you don’t have them boobies, then you probably can’t fight probably in Queen’s Blade. Combat skill = boob size.

Her armored gauntlets remind me of a certain man in iron.

The gorgeous feathers on her head gear is so pretty. If I could I’d have broken them off and put them on nendoroids.

A full body shot. As you can see, wings on her beautiful boots, and you can have a better look at her combat armor attire. Her loincloth attire is fully cast-offable but I choose not to do that since I already had a lot of problems keeping her skin areas clean in the outdoor. Plus, there are other place where you can see her in her full uncensored glory.

I’m loving her side profile very much. As little space as this figure takes up, it still feels very very dynamic. Much of it comes from the well sculpted pony tail and expressive facial expression.

Her back is very impressive too. Shoulder blades are very well articulated, and being a Queen’s Blade character expect no less than quality standards for the butt area.

She looks great from every angle and if I did not know that she was a Megahouse product, I’d never would have guessed it. The only complaints, aside from the character design, is that the skin, though very well painted, has a tendency of getting very dirty easily. Other than that, this figure is just gorgeous. I’m even contemplating getting one after this, the only thing stopping me is that I’m not a fan of scantily clad girls.

However, if you are a fan of Queen’s Blade, this figure is definitely a must get. Hobbysearch still has stock at time of writing and at below 6000¥, which is just great for a figure of this quality and sculpt.
