Note: This post has more pictures than the usual travelogue post because of a few of Rin’s mischievous antics so the loading time will be longer than usual!
I arrived earlier than our agreed timing and as usual, I killed time by taking the greenery of the surroundings.
One of the most interesting things in which I observed is that the greenery around the tracks are virtually untouched. As such, very lush greenery, tall grass and wild flowers were a common sight.
There were pockets of sparse vegetation too, with dried branches and broken twigs everywhere.
This branch is a peculiar one indeed. I’m pretty lost on how to describe it! Thedoorknob willing to help me identify it? ^^
A bed of dried leaves makes a perfect spot for jumping!
What’s under the rocks? Spiders? Snakes? Treasure? or some of nendoroid parts which I lost many moons ago?
Alafista came a while later with Pastel and Zetbuso and the exploration begins.
Zetsubo it looks good when he’s alone. Here he’s trying to get rammed down by the train.
Rin is the mother duck. Zetsubo would be the little duckling that gets lost first.
Nendoroids crossing the tracks are just lovely. Reminds me of a childrens’ storybook of the little ducklings following the mother duck.
“Where’s mummy…….”
A little more detail of our photoshoot location. The pictures above this one was done at Jalan Asas, just below Singapore Quarry. We went to the Bukit Timah KTM station next to get the next few shots. It’s a train station than is manned by Malaysia.
Greenery here was as beautiful as usual.
The thing different from this location was that since it was a station, there were 3 sets of tracks, and many other ding dings which were equally as interesting.
Rin goes into berserk mode. Must be the afternoon heat. It was really terribly hot. Despite my experience in taking pictures in the outdoors and quite decent stamina, I was feeling a little dizzy at the end of the shoot.
This is the sweetest picture of the day. Love them cuties!
Oh? Pantsu again?
No guesses who.
Having the height advantage too!

Before we started the shoot on the tracks, we asked the station master when was the next train coming so that we don’t end up on the papers as casualties. We promptly moved away from the tracks when the time of the next train approached.
Zetsubo is going on a journey it seems. Apparently fed-up by the fact that he doesn’t appear in much pictures and always a subject of nendo-torture.
The coolest dude.
Hmmm.. The train isn’t stopping for him.
Drossels: Oh well, we’ll see him around then.
Drossels: Hope you enjoyed the travelogue. Kodomut was sunburnt and fell into a high fever a day after this travelogue. A weak master we have. Be sure to check out the figure.fm mirror post for more pictures! And Alafista for the train video!

Goddamn, Rin is an evil bitch
Haha, she fits that role so well.
ohmy.. hope u get well soon.. nice photos!
looks like rin’s arms are right this time! xD
get well soon!
It really feels like a journey through the train tracks through the pictures.
Ouch…high fever? Rest well, kodomut.
Medicine works wonders. Do not worry.
Cool stuff. I’ve never seen these types of trains up close before. ):
Rin seems to be really mischievous!
Rin is the devil, she is really machievous on your picture ^^ Nice shooting, as always !
Get well soon!!
Zetsubou shita~~
I am already well. Naruto-ish regeneration + Drugs works wonders.
Oh dear, Zetsubo really got tied up!
Evil Rin is Evil.
Cool down your body with come herbal tea!! Take a good rest and let the nendoroids nurse you to the pink of health!
Bukit Timah means a ‘Tin Hill’ it seems XD
That branch seems pretty familiar to me, but since I didn’t see those around anymore, I can’t really figure out what it is.
Did that train personnel stares at you for long?
The guy on the train or the station master?
If you are referring to the guy on the train, then I doubt so since the train whizzed by so fast.
If you are talking about the station master, nope, he was kind enough to chat with us about how the train system works and never stopped our photography session.
“Where’s mummy…” is my fav photo for this travelogue.
So was that train heading back to Johor?
Yes.
looks like fun. next one when ? heh.
Fortnightly, 2 weeks from now.
My fav is the one with zetsubou sensei waiting for the train. Looks good!
Hmmm… it’s difficult for me to say anything too certainly, the branch could be a fragment of some kind of blooming plant or the victim of a bacterial or pest infection. It looks a lot like it may have come from a palm (Rhopaloblaste sp.)… that’s probably my best guess ^^;
Love the picture with zetsubou sensei and the train… such a cute but sad mood!
You need to come over Singapore one day and tag along with me on my outdoor shots so you can endow me with plant knowledge.
Nice photos. Next time drink lot of water and try not to go in the afternoon. The sun is not something we can mess with. No joke due to global warming.
awesome photos! love the captions on Rin stoning Zetsubo lol
is that the train operator leaning out the train? and is that normal? o.O
Yes, it’s a norm. It’s the old railway system. These days they use traffic lights for the ones that don’t follow the old system.
so cute! heehee love your nendo adventures ^^
kawaii ^_^
Hello from Russia!
Can I quote a post in your blog with the link to you?
Sure.
