After sitting under my desk for a few days, Saber gets unboxed to give me a very Good Smile. (:
Some call it the greatest figure, some call it the figure of the year, I call it Saber Lily of GSC who destroys wallets. It’s pretty amazing that this figure took so long to get here, especially since this was the first figure I ever preordered (with Moka) in Feb this year. I have no idea what’s up with the spanking new armor since I never played the game.
Honestly I don’t know where to start. The figure is aesthetically pleasing from her left and front, but viewing her from her right gives a weird face shape.
Lovely armpits though, as mentioned by everyone. I hope that the upkeep of this figure doesn’t not involve shaving that region though.
She comes with 2 swords and a scabbard. Someone has to translate that nonsense on the weapons. What is that supposed to mean? Isn’t she from Britain?
Anyway I have don’t really like scaled figures with extra parts, where in this case, is the extra sword. I don’t like keeping extra stuff everywhere so I’m probably going to hide the extra sword back into the scabbard. Would be nice if there was a seperate stand/holder for the extra sword so you can display it beside the figure. Maybe I’ll make one myself with Styrofoam and spray it black-grey so that it would go with the stand. I think I’ll just do that.
Her armor is ridiculously sexy and detailed. I’m not convinced that Armor and Skirts are just pure chemistry. While I would like to have snapped her pantsu, I ran out of battery for my D40 so I had to skip that part. However her reviews are all over the interwebs and you can find quality pantsu pictures around.
Very bouncy too, just the right size, not like Moka or Soniko. I like. Goes so well with the armpits. I tried taking off the breast plate but failed terribly. Would love to have a closer look. ^^
Wanted to take her outdoors but maybe I’ll do it some other time. Got carried away and it was at night when I took these pictures. My room is in a mess now with all the feathers. Saber Nendo will get the same treatment too, though I’m sure her feathers would look much better since this is the old prototype.
This Saber is going to set the standard for most figures to come. Hope this drives the competition to produce even better works! Though this is an excellent figure with the sculpt down to the funky stand, I still like my Narika better, but it’s a tough fight.
Saber’s face just looks weird from her right and I can’t stand it, Narika on the other hand, looks great from every angle, even with my eyes closed.

Greatest figure ever made. (‘~’)!
The new armor is from her Saber Lily costume in the game Fate/unlimited codes. I think it’s supposedly a costume made for her by Caster.
Anyways, this figure will definitely set the standard for future figures from any of the top manufacturers – at least for me.

I feel as though Saber’s bust is a bit larger than it should be? but perhaps I can just blame that on the armor squishing things.

The feathers were bought from a craft shop, bigger ones are turkey, smaller ones are… are… I don’t know.
The white rose is from a potpourri, wanted to use the “lily” potpourri but it was pink.
she’s worth the money imo. I can’t stop admiring her armpits everytime I saw her pictures on the net.

I’m really wondering whats written on her swords too.
There are two possibilities: Either they added some random weird stuff or they actully added runes there.
Considering when those were used and the fact the she is Arthur runes would be a good option.
If they actually had that much time when designing this figure then we have to problem which text it is: Is it the one frome the “sword in the lake” version or from the “sword in a stone” version? ^_^ Ährm I guess you shouldn’t have asked. xD

Mine arrived last week, and is the best figure IMHO. Not regret to buy it. The first time i bought a figure too…instant get.

I’ve a layman question here. I hope someone can help me out here.
The Saber Lily GSC that you own. Where is it made? China or Japan?
Being new in PVCs, I realize that most of the PVCs was made in China. Is that common?
Also, I saw a Saber Lily GSC for sales in E-Bay stating Hong Kong/China version. Does that make any difference?
