B is for Bird.
I wanted to use Banana for today’s picture but my best mate was telling me that 2 fruits in a day was pretty much an overkill, so I decided to use Nendoroid #45 Neuro Nougami, which was loaned to me by comrade Dcal. I have no idea what or where this character comes from but a bird faced nendoroid is certainly a win.
I originally intended for it to be biting/pecking a poor puchi Kyouka but then there’s a too much puchi Kyouka as of late. Neuro Nougami is extremely colourful with it’s yellow beak and purplish pink face, which makes it look great with colored feathers which I scavenged from my stockpile of prop junk.
Now, I have to go and search for my Soniko’s head which disappeared when she fell off her stand. She was placed pretty close to the window and I think the she decapitated herself and the head went tumbling down 10 floors. I’ve went down 2 times to search for it but the efforts were futile. Hopefully the third’s a charm!

Heard of chapteh? Don’t know if I got the spelling right. It’s those things you kick in the air and try to rekick it up. Those feathers where from a chapteh.

About Neuro, The piece I least like is the bird face…strange but real. I know that Neuro nendo is from dcal, so be careful both with his ahoge because it isnt a removable piece, its fixed and I had mine broken. The same as Yako nendo, non removable ahoges.
Same as seraphy and all the other oldies I guess. No worries, I don’t have the original head with me, only the nice bird head ^^

Just to let you know, Neuro is from a series called Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro (Loosely: Demon Detective Neuro Nougami). I’m a fan of detective animes and this is one of my favorites.
The basics is that Neuro is a demon who feeds on mysteries, and having eaten all the ones in Hell, sets up shop in the human world to find more to eat. He usually only gets the crazy bird head when he’s about to eat (with the chilling exclamation “Itadakimasu”) a mystery just solved.
It’s actually pretty interesting if you like mysteries, and Neuro there is a pretty funny character (if a bit of a sadistic and utter jerk who views humans as trash). I’d recommend it if you get the chance.
Humans as trash is a win in my books!
The best part though is how he seems to hide it at times, but still shows how much he thinks that way via his body movements and the way he talks.
For example, watch his hands, he hardly ever points/counts normally with his index finger, he usually purposely uses his middle one.
