Christmas and New Year passed in a blink of an eye. Pretty awesome I would say. Though the alcohol could have been toned down a little. Was pretty wasted every single day throughout the week. Very lucky to have weekend Christmas and weekend new year in 2009.

As much as it’s the beginning of the decade, I don’t think I need want to write down any resolutions here as many have done because I know that 1 year later, I’m going to come back here and realise that it’s not happening ^^;

All I know is that studies come first, followed by photography and probably sleep next, though these few days it’s Guitar Hero and lots of booze.

Pretty amazing what a bunch of guys can do under the influence of alcohol. Here’s me and my best buds posing right outside my house, obviously ready to rob a bank or something.

I broke the ice tray trying to take out ice too. Haven’t glued it back yet. The vodka grants strength stats for a few hours, which is why it broke.

Would be an excellent prop for photoshoots and nendoroid stories in time to come, but my mum insists that I fix it with my awesome glue and put it back into the freezer.

Must admit that after 1 week of partying, it’s hard to get back to reality. Feels very surreal. Spent the day lazing around and finding my SD card. Found my card after a few hours. I have no idea why my card was on my figure rack. Must have done something during my intoxication periods.

Anyway, 2009 was pretty awesome; the start of this blog, learning the ropes of my D40, going abroad to China and climbing the great wall, storytelling and such.
I guess the plan to stay engaged and busy pretty much worked out. Interests and stuff to do keeps the mind healthy and happy. I think that the mind that isn’t engaged just rots and starts to think negatively, which I see quite often to people around me.

China was really awesome, travelling is much fun, but expensive.

But I guess the most significant part is probably this blog. Don’t know if I mentioned this before, but I always wanted to start a photoblog long ago, I only started collecting figures 5-6 months after getting my D40. Initially I wanted to do a toys in places kind of photoblog, but ended up making really random stories which seems to be the most engaging when it’s very ecchi.^^;

Maybe I should get Kureha to don this kimono for the new year?

Anyway lets just see what this year brings for this blog and me, exams in 4 months time, so it’s pretty much downhill updates from the end of Feb. Maybe I need to get another fellow figurecollector/photographer who has crazy ideas to co-blog with me!
