I have a very good friend. We have known each other since our third year in Secondary school. We share many common interests including photography and eating food that stretches the tenacity of the digestive track. Unfortunately he’s currently in the States studying economics.
He recently came back for winter break right before Christmas for three weeks and we definitely spent lots of time having fun, which constitutes to lots of Wii gaming over Christmas and New Year, and not to mention the gargantuan amounts of food we ate.
He just flew back as the start of the semester is starting next week. Will be seeing him either in May when he comes back, or at the end of the year when meet him at transit point Narita.
Because of his presence in back here in Singapore, I definitely have not been as studious as I need to be, and haven’t been updating as much as I would like. This three weeks is probably what I would call a ‘dry spell’. Sleeping late and waking up early to attending my on-going lectures, then going out for some great food or to some other random place in Singapore to snap shots. Which is why this blog has been filled with lackluster sporadic updates.
The result of all of that travelling and eating is being really tired at the end of each day that I just fall on the bed and fall into deep sleep till the next morning. That means not unpacking the figures that go out for the shoots. As a result, my whole room is spewed with figure parts and lecture notes/readings. Times like this, I wished that genies and meidos and suddenly appear out from no where in animes were real, could really use their help now.
Anyway, today was his last day here and I found myself back at the Bird Park again. The last time I was here was with Optic and Scorch. I didn’t spend as much time as I wanted here as we were pressed for time, but I saw stuff which I missed out the other time, and took shots which I should have since the last trip.
The best part of going back there was that I managed to squeeze in some shots of figures and birds. A long time ago, I was pretty much interested with taking figures and the greenery together, but over the time, I realised that it’s pretty boring. Maybe I haven’t been thinking hard enough, but posing figures against flowers and a patch of green gets really boring over time.
Figures and animals, now that’s something I would like to do, unfortunately I still have much to learn. When taking nature, the only damage that could possibly happen is when the figure drops off some weird angle and breaks some protruding part. Animals on the other hand, pee, shit peck and claw figures if they think they are some yummy chew toy.
Actually the more I think about it, the scarier it seems. I am pretty good at breaking and damaging stuff already. Don’t need to enlist the help of little furry friends to make matters worse.
Here’s proof; Broke my ex:ride from making Drossel try to sit on it.
Have yet to unpack my Drossel parts from an outing earlier this week. Probably do it over the week end. Speaking of Drossel, Drossel has found herself a new owner. So now I have 0.5 normal Drossel, a headless one. Which means there probably will not be any Dross figma pictures any time soon. The little one is awesome though, probably carry her around with Miku puchi like I usually do. The old Drossel would probably be enjoying nice cold weather now ^^
Anyway I have a ton of readings to do and an essay to complete before my Saturday lessons tomorrow. And the owner of this nendoroid needs to meet up and collect her. Same goes for a certain bird nendoroid.

If your posts have been lackluster, I ought to be ashamed of my posts =/
!!!!
Lackluster in a sense that I haven’t been brainstorming for stories, something which I should be doing instead of taking random pictures!
Don’t like taking random pictures because it lacks creativity ^^; I can train Drossel’s monkey to do shots like those!
What about me -.- 11ish days of no posting.
*Ashamed*
Big word DAILY up there!
=3333!!
Ganbatte ne!
Seems like all students get their share of School work at certain points of time ^^;
I have school work all the time as long as my semester is on-going. Would be manageable since I do nothing except read lots of stuff and take photos every other normal day.
Hmm… Bird head owner is also busy leh. When are you free for a meeting? I got new toys for you to play with. =)
What about me!! =3 *Nyanko Senpai! Where are you figmas!! = < *
After 3pm any day generally.
I found myself with a lot of reading to do for the weekend too.
I like in the 5th picture the bird is like “What the hell is this?”
good luck kodomut
Are those small dots on the back of the little Drossel’s jet are the buttons?
Seems like so to me…
The parrot looks extremely cooperative!
Orz I can’t possibly be as hard working as you are. I always skip on my studies. ^ ^;
