Long days

After my little photoshoot with the lovely BRS from Scorch, it has been quite a hectic few days after that.

I had to leave for Malaysia for some family business the morning I did the BRS night shoot so I did not get any sleep that day at atll.

It was definitely fun, but fun takes up lots of energy!

But I guess I was pretty lucky that my room did not burn down or something like that. Putting incense on charcoal isn’t the most intelligent thing to do.

Used green tea incense, still has lingering smell in my room.

Anyway as I have mentioned, I intended to use the shiny liquid in the light sticks for the photoshoot. Got a few varieties from DAISO. Really pretty when lit up.

Extracting the liquid was pretty messy though. Sadly the effect I wanted did not happen.

I ended up sleeping at the family meet up in Malaysia but was woken up by my cute little nieces.

So adorable, like an oversized nendoroid.

Went to the museum earlier this week for some Egyptian exhibit. Cool stuff; says RYUK up there.

Loads of cool Egyptian stuff to be seen, better seeing them on Discovery Channel.

Did some artwork too; can you interpret this?

For locals who are interested, it’s at the National Singapore Museum and free for poor students like me and you. For working adults and NSFs, there’s a charge for entry. It’s pretty worth it though, lots of pretty girls visiting the exhibits when I went.

The rest of the week has been usual. Realised that my schedule is the most packed on the first three days of the week, excluding the weekends. Don’t have much time to sit and take photos out of my camera.

As a result, there’s a ton of photos to post by the time I reach Wednesday and Thursday.

I’m lazy to schedule posts either. Needs to buy an assistant.

That being said, there’s still a ton of stuff to do. The Chinese New Year is approaching and I am obliged to pack up my room. There’s also lots of figure fixes to be done. Need to buy a new tube of SHELLYS soon.

Lots of nendoroids and figures to return. It’s not safe to leave stuff with me because I have a very high tendency to lose stuff, so if you have your nendoroid or figure with me, it’s best to take them back ASAP;

To who ever is applicable, don’t worry though, Imoko is safe in her box.

Really want to take a nap after this but I’ve got to go down back to my Junior College to help the Lion Dance Troupe. It’s pretty fun, will take some pictures.

Anyway, as some of you know, I’m always in search of new storage solutions.
Was using this Apple Keyboard box for faces.

Most of the containers I’ve got to store parts comes from DAISO. Storage for parts and accessories are pretty easily obtained actually, the heads are the tough ones. Originally I had this nice container than had slots that fit faces perfectly, but lately there are new nendoroids and there are a ton of faces to keep.

Managed to use some dividers and a flat container for the additional faces. Works like a charm. The hard part was finding a flat container actually, been looking for one for ages.

fits 3 X 6 faces. which is on average 8-9 nendoroids. Will need more soon.

Anyway to end this lonnnnng post is this picture of a belated birthday gift from Singer_yuna whom I met at tsuki-board. Got an awesome cake with candles and forks and plates.
