*SWooooooShhhhhhhh*

So I was out the other day, with my trusty photobuddy, doing some weekend chill out before I headed back into camp. We decided to join the evening kite flyers just around the neighbourhood.

This little escapade proves to me that I need to invest some cheap glass that will zoom into faraway objects. I’m a prime advocate but I guess I need to have some handy telezooms to keep my options open, probably get a cheap one early next month.

Anyway the place was full of energy, kite flyers, kids, families and people who just want to chill out on a cooling Sunday evening. Not even the overcast sky was a deterrence for Benjamin Franklin wannabes. Speaking of kite flying, the last time I actually few a kite was probably more than a decade ago. I remember going for weekly kite flying sessions with my family back when I couldn’t ride a bicycle, which means that it was probably when I was 7-9 years old. I remember that the most frustrating part was when the strings of 2 kites got entangled and sometimes one of them would just get cut and fly really really far away!

In any case, just getting out and spending fun time with your family is one of the best things, because as you grow older, you’ll find that you’ll spend less and less time with your parents and siblings so it best to find an excuse to have family activities like bowling, kite flying, nendoroid figure shoots if that’s the thing that your family enjoys ^^

Alternatively, sitting down with your special one is also a great way to spend quality time together without spending much money on movies and dinner!
