October Clean up

One of the most irritating part of nendoroid stories and/or figure photoshoots is the mess that is left behind. It’s like playing with LEGO, the cleaning up sucks. So most of the time I just leave my halved-bodied nendoroids lying on my table. It really looks like a great massacre.

There’s just so many parts nowadays and the containers just get more and more and I really need to spend one of these days just reorganising them. The current storage system is quite a mess. Initially each figure has their own little compartment in the medicine box container. But I got to a point where that system of storage is suckage.

I realised that the most important parts in making any nendoroid story is the hands and the head. So much so that I find myself chucking the hands into specialised compartments like the heads. There are three types of hands; hands, like Theia. Sleeved hands, like Rin and Marisa; And last but not least, sleeveless, like Misa and Ein.

Basically sleeveless is unused until Black Rose comes in.

So anyway I spent the better half of the Sunday packing my room, trashing stuff that were useless like old books and notes. After that I took out my figure parts and started sorting them out. This is the Furniture box. Already overflowing, will need another box soon. It’s just like the SIMS.

I have two prop boxes now, the old red one is for cloths and potpourri, which I like to use indiscriminately. The newer smaller box stores greenery like plants, flowers and also feathers. Just restocked my feathers last week. Will make a better cluck suit later next week if I have the time.

This is how my nendos look like most of the time on my table. All the limb swapping creates a mess like this.

Just like a resident evil scene. It’s usually not this bad but there were a few stories made last week so they are headless. Waiting on my trusty translator, Saiseki, to translate the story.

Found out that Kyouka’s ahoge was missing when I was reattaching her head to her body. Use Theia’s wand as a replacement.

Have 3 boxes o’heads now.

Made some changes to my table so that I can store more stuff, like my notes. BRS fits the G4 Cube casing really nicely.

Mr blobberhead. He has an interesting story. He’s one of those ‘I’ve got an idea but I can’t be bothered to make it into reality projects’ Was supposed to decapitate him and replace him with nendorossel. Never got the drive to do it in the end. Anyone willing to help?
