Kindle 3

Nowadays, everyone and their mother and their grandmother seems to be walkind down the streets with an iPad in hand, playing their cute little iPad games. While it’s tempting to own an iPad, I don’t have so much money to blow on something that I’ll probably only use during my extremely long journey in Singapore’s public transport. I already have my trusty PSP for mobile entertainment and I spend most of the time reading books anyway.

Enter the Kindle by Amazon. Simple eBook reader for a book reader like me. A pretty little device and I’m loving it.

The packaging is pretty simple. A quick start guide book, a USB cable, an power socket-USB adapter and the Kindle itself. I remember a couple of years ago, manufacturers used to have elaborate packaging for their products. Manufacturers sure have come a long way in saving materials by keeping their packaging simple

Am not a fan of white cables though, I think they get dirty too easily and turn grey.

The Kindle is ridiculously thin and small. For those who don’t know what those things below the screen are, they are called BUTTONS. We used to use those before Apple made touch-screens the industry norm.

So what do I read. I read lots of things, mainly pop-psychology books, IQ puzzles, child development, and occasionally light novels from various series.

“Sisterly-Lovu”

At chapter 8 now. For those who don’t get the anime for some reason, like me, the novel is must more exciting. Touma touches really a lot of boobies in the novels.

Did I mention that reading manga panes on the Kindle is awesome too?

If you are a reader and on a budget, I recommend the Kindle. Don’t need an iPad unless you really need do other stuff aside reading, that being said, you should just get an Macbook Air with just a few more bucks!
