Foodalogue 1

Recently, a few comrades came to Singapore for AFAX and had an extended stay. What better way to spend the time by bringing these comrades out for good food. Unfortunately the good food was too heaty and I’m down with a really bad cough ToT. Anyway lets continue with the pictures, First up on the list is prata.

Lots of different types. Almost any kind you can think of.

Crazy drinks too. Milo Dinosaur for the win. Not a fan of the Milo Godzilla though. Too much random stuff in it for my liking.

Mutton Curry. Awesomest curry ever. Tastes 100% better than the normal chicken curry!

My usual prata hangout zone, The Roti Prata House along Thompson Road. Open 24/7, except during some holidays and special occasions. Although they have lots of pratas, the especially good ones are the plain, the onion and the mushroom ones. And you have to try out their mutton curry too!

Next up is Chicken Rice. Found in many places in Singapore and thus there are a couple of good ones.

Comes in 2 versions. The white skinned (白鸡) and the brown skinned roasted chicken (烧鸡) ver.

If you are in the North, you have to try out the one which I frequent at Block 925 Yishun Central, just behind the bus interchange. Long queue so be prepared to wait during the peak lunch and dinner periods!

Something non-local for the last place in this post. CPK, or also known as California Pizza Kitchen.

Only 1 thing is really awesome here, the Wild Mushroom pizza! I could eat two of it if I’m really hungry. Something about the mushroom is just fantastic.

Foodalogue

The salad is not bad too!

Foodalogue

Foodalogue

But it’s the Mushroom pizza that steals the show!
