An exciting week of figure shooting! The weekend is kicked off by the gorgeous petite Good Smile Company Racing Miku. Thanks to comrade Scorch, I was able to get my itchy hands on this figure.
わくわくフィギュアーシュートの一週間！今週末はGSCからのレーシングミク。スコッチのおかげで、このフィギュアーが手に入った。
Really a lovely figure. Although I would have preferred to have taken her in a different setting but I guess we have to make do with what was available to me during the hot Saturday afternoon. I borrowed my trusty comrade’s Sony A700 with his wideangle to play around with using wide-angles for scaled figure photography. I must say it’s quite a challenge composition wise. I probably need more practice with it and also with using a Sony body ^^;

すてきなフィギューアだ。違う景色で撮りたかったんが暑かった土曜日の昼はさすがにしかたなかった。友達の広角レンズとソニーA700を借りて、広角なフィギュアー写真を遊んで撮った。ちょっと難しくて、もっとソニーのカメラで練習しなきゃ＾＾；
また、ネットですごい人からの写真だ！このちっちゃいフィギュアーを買った人が多そう！

I just purchased this figure after seeing this post. I was so tempted to get her but something was holding me back- these shots really pushed me over the edge though. Redjuice’s illustration was fantastic & I’m glad this Miku was released.

So she’s able to stand without the base- were you worried about the wind tipping her over or was she pretty well balanced?
She’s quite tricky to balance, I had to use the groves in the rough road to do it. She did fall a few times ^^;;
Oh wow out of all the figures in the world I would have never pegged this one as one who could stand on its own!
Damn now I’m sad I didn’t try it too, but the roads around here are pretty smooth…bah.
If you can place a small piece of folded paper under her left boot, you can balance her easily

yeah, and the silly thing is i wasn’t like her face, especially her teeth back then. but she have a lovely neck and armpits @_@ noooooooo @_@
It’s not until I own the figure myself, that I’m more than truly amazed over all these photos. I mean, I’m having a really hard time getting her to stand without using her display pad. O:
Got any nice tips? Or are your figure, by chance, better balanced than mine? xDD
I made use of the little groves in the tarmac to balance her ^^
