It’s that time of the year where I only want a wide angle lens just to take fireworks.9th August; Singapore’s national day. The day where I summon my photobug friends and we sit under the hot sun and wait…and wait…..and wait.. for 3minutes of fireworks.
During the wait we pass the time by sleeping, reading or posing figures. It’s really boring and you need to keep yourself occupied to prevent yourself from going crazy.
And then, after a few hours of waiting (you have to wait because you have to go early or else there will be no place for you to place your tripod because of the human crowd) the fireworks pop out and you pray that your settings is ok and just spam the shutter button.
I still think last year and the year before was much better, though they did announce the commencement of the fireworks this year which was pretty nice!

Happy birthday Singapore!! The fireworks looks beautiful, I’m sure it was worth the wait ^^
Nice fireworks photos. Have just read a section of yesterday’s newspaper today that it was your country’s birthday yesterday.
Happy birthday Singapore!!!
