The opening of the Circle Line has made it really accessible to more people and I don’t have to walk for 1.75km from Orchard MRT with my load (you can take a bus, but who likes to wait right?). However Tanglin Gate (the entrance from Orchard) has much nicer flora and fauna as compared to the gate in which you enter from when you exit “Botanic Gardens” station via the circle line.

SBG

I might have mentioned it before somewhere, but I’d have to say it again. The Botanic Gardens is HUGE. Sure, one is able to easily cover the whole place in an afternoon while walking leisurely, but from a photographic stand point, especially with nendoroids, figmas or dollfies, you can have a field day here. I’ve been here 3 times since I’ve gotten Beatrice and in 3 afternoons, I’ve only taken less than 50% of the “Tanglin Core” portion of SBG.

Can’t wait to go back there once again and explore more!

I really enjoyed this shoot (this post and the previous). Would have love to stay a while longer, especially since it was the golden hour, but I had to leave due to other commitments!

If you ever come to Singapore, please visit the Singapore Botanical Gardens. Easily accessible via the Circle Line, very hot on sunny days, lots of bugs, but a real change from all the concrete you see around Singapore.
