AFA Round up

AFA passed in a flash, as with other AFAs, this year was a few megatons more awesome than the previous year. This year I had the opportunity to provide creative direction for a certain orangey booth. Many skype calls, many emails, many hours spent waiting for photoshop to load, but in the end, I’m pretty proud of the end result and I’ve to say the booth was a real looker. ^^

Preparation was a few weeks of late nights, craft work, shopping and incredibly messed up room! Below are the pics which provide a little glimpse of the mayhem that started at the end of October ^^

 

Despite being too exhausted during Saturday and Sunday to do any purchases (such as Gumako from the GSC) booth, I walked away with a ton of rare memorabilia. Mirai in her cute figma form, Mirai posters and the list goes on ^^

Not to mention meeting a couple of blog readers during CJN night despite walking around and filming the place. If I said hi, drop a comment below or on my facebook page. Some of you guys have added me on FB and we are having some really interesting conversations now.

After talking to a bunch of readers on CJN, I realised that so many people still love nendoroid pictures! I always thought that to be the case but never really had any verbal confirmation until that night; True?

 

On hindsight I would have taken much much much more pictures, but I think when you are as exhausted as I was, the brain doesn’t really think. Either way, it was a wonderful experience to meet so many new people, help out with the booth, the production of culture japan, eating so so so so much nom noms!
