Nope, I did not die nor did my Nendoroid collection melt in a house fire.

The blog has been collecting more dust than my figures lately, just haven’t gotten the time and inspiration to think of stories. Will be a dry season of photography until the middle of the month when I get some school stuff in order; but truth be told, I’ve been slacking off quite a bit ^^;

I think I’ve mentioned it before, that I get lots of ideas on my way to and fro from school to home. Traveling and sitting on the bus gives me time to think of lots of whacky ideas. But ever since lessons stopped, I’ve not been on the bus nor have I been traveling much. The only thing unchanged is that my table is still pretty messy with paper and pens. Oh wait, there’s a change, no more nendoroid parts lying around!

Been eating lots of McDos lately. The Mcspicy is getting better and they just released a new version a few days back with some pretty killer looking fries. Need to try those soon.

My McDonalds funds are running low though. Kyouka takes care of finances.

Still need to take these little ones for photoshoots outdoors. On a side note, it’s pretty hot lately. The news says that Feb was Singapore’s driest month since 1869.

Takos would be cooked if they went under the sun.

Found drossel under my table. Dropped her. Have to change her batteries soon. Left it on overnight after some shoot a long time ago.

Surviving on mum’s awesome tea. Love tea. Can’t do anything without it.

Had this figure sitting on my desk, collecting dust for a few days ever since I unboxed her to see the colors of her pantsu which were pearly whites.

Rina Ogata was a figure which I almost cancelled in order to save funds for more Mcdo meals, but a certain magazine left behind by comrade ScorchNRoses, when he came over with the figure gang over for Chinese New Year, made be retract my hasty decision.

Twas a good choice because this figure is so hot that there has only been sun and a severe lack of rain these few days, causing me to walk around half naked around the house.

It’s a pity that the macro filters that I’ve ordered, along with my new len caps, hasn’t arrived yet or else I’d have taken more pictures of her yummilicious zettai ryouiki and very yummy exposed neck. Maybe I’ll shake off my lazy bug one day and do just that.

Taking the sparkler shots were pretty tough and they did not turn out as I wanted them. Realised the importance of an extra pair of hands just as I had when I was taking Nanoha. No more fire shots without helpers!

This has got to be my most favourite shot of the stack. Turned out really nice. Wanted it to be the header picture but I had to make the header picture look crappy so that the others below would look a little better ^^;

Chinese New Year started around a week back and boy was it a hectic week, as evident as there weren’t any updates for a full week! That’s a record. My email inbox reached a record 124 mails unread which is pretty disastrous. Will have to read them when I go to the library later in the evening for storytelling.

As some of you might know, my dad is Malaysian so every year we have to head down to Malaysia for CNY. Unfortunately yours truely forgot to put the camera battery into his camera so there’s no pictures to share during the couple days I was in Malaysia. I have to say that my cousins grow pretty quick.

During the later part of the week, when I was back in Singapore, I visited my uncles and aunts and was flabbergasted by my uncle’s imaging armory. Could buy a few of my cameras with the arsenal that he has. Managed to obtain a monitor color calibration thingy from him too!

Some random tako pictures which I took here and there. Didn’t have much time to take proper figure stuff at other peoples’ homes because I was too busy gorging myself with the food and drinks.

Quite sure a couple of posts back I mentioned that my little niece is cuter than any nendoroid ever released. I’m pretty convinced that that is so true! Very adorable!

This is cousin, 20 years younger than me. Very adorable too!

Generation gaps in my family is pretty big. The kid on the right is my cousin (my generation), the one on the left is my nephew (1 generation lower). If you are wondering why, it’s because my father’s eldest and youngest brothers are like 15 years apart.

This is a common sight during new year. There’s more human beings behind me when I took this picture.

Had some issues with my card reader but it’s ok now, so more pictures soon after I am done with them, probably Lion Dance pictures! Bad thing is that during the New Year, I lost both my lens caps ~_~. Have to get new ones now!

I’ve a few unopened figure boxes sitting under my desk since the start of the week too, have yet to unbox them. Chiaki is also waiting for some nendo stories!

Recently I invited some figure comrades over for some Lunar New Year steamboat gathering. Quite a few comrades turned up and we had some really awesome fun and food and most importantly photography!

FS/N fanboy, Shazz was kind enough to bring his unopened Nanoha Exceed Beat for some good Kodomut abuse action. Took quite sometime to figure out how to shoot her unlike other figures since I did not give much thought for her ever since she was released.

Had lots of help from the others for this shoot too!

I used left over sparklers from the 2010 New Year shoot with Alafista. Though I took quite some time and effort to time the sparklers for the shots, the pictures did not turn out as nice as I wanted them to be. Not to mention the whole place was full of smoke after each shot >_

After choking on smoke, I decided that it was a better idea to ditch the smokey stuff. Took out my cache of feathers and used them.

That was probably the most fun part of the shoot. There were 3 people blowing the feathers around for the shot ^^; Was pretty epic. Cleaning up wasn’t epic though!

Would have loved to take her out for a day shot but Shaz has to bring her home.

Recently I’ve been unearthing lots of interesting bits of weird looking things from the cesspool which happens to be my room due to my mum coercing me to pack my room up for the upcoming relative visits which accompanies new year. I bet she secretly plans to melt my figures if I don’t take action in packing my room.

Anyways packing the room isn’t a bad thing either. Just pretty tiring. On the other hand I find lots of money in the form of coins and mysterious nendoroid parts which I presumed to have lost many moons ago.

Have tooooo many props for future shoots and stuff which is colored paper to other weird metal things. Spot the iMac stand in the above picture. I keep too much junk and can’t bear to throw them away because it simply looks “interesting” and “I may just use it one day”

Lately there’s just only posts of random stories because I’m just too lazy to go out of the house to take any pictures. Not to mention the Sun would just melt me the moment I step outside. Apart from that, there’s tuition, liondance and many other stuff. Just found out that the lion dance coach from my ex=JC is also at my Uni, which probably means that I’ll finally have a CCA at my Uni.

So exciting, 1 week more to Chinese New Year!

For those who were wondering about the lemon from the previous post, I love lemon tea so I buy lots of lemons and this particular one probably was left under the lemon pile under the fridge from the many many generations of new additions.

And I recall seeing someone mentioning me having bulky hands or something like that. Hehe, sorry to burst your bubble but my hands are terribly small. The height of a figma is longer than the height of my hand, but that’s a good thing, I have an easy time posing figures ^^; Probably post a comparison picture one of these days!
