Year 2 Begins
Today marks the first day of the new semester after a long break. Had a lot of fun during the holidays and setting up this blog was the best thing that happened. However, just as life needs to go on, I need to continue to pursue my degree.

Singapore Quarry
It’s a long week end and thus, my family decided to go on a family outing together. I rarely go out with the whole family after having my own hobbies and activities and it was nice and I enjoyed myself very much. We went to Singapore Quarry to find where my mum’s old house originally stood before the government resettled her almost 20 years ago.

Waseda High
Went down to Waseda High today for their cultural day. Not too sure if it’s called their cultural day or open house or what, but it was an eye opening experience for me into their education and life studying in Singapore.
Took many pictures of this lively event and enjoyed myself just walking and understand more of their culture.
After the Rain
Greenery looks always greenery after the rain for some reason. Today, like most days during this week there was a brief downpour during the afternoon, clearing the haze and the hot weather during the week. I was eating my lunch when I thought that rain would make interesting photos.
Went to take a little walk around the neighbourhood and got some interesting shots.

中秋節 Mooncake Festival
The annual Mooncake festival is here once again. The Mooncake festival or Mid-Autumn festival which has an interesting story behind it. But whatever the story is, the festival is a great excuse to get everyone together for another meet-up. We will be meeting at the Singapore Chinese Gardens on the 26th!
